When you Live Active, you Live Well
Community based and one-to-one exercise sessions designed to improve strength, mobility, balance and cardiovascular fitness in the over 50s.
In my sessions I aim to educate participants on the importance of remaining active in later life, combat social isolation, improve confidence and make exercise engaging, inclusive and FUN!
Seated and standing, evidence-based exercises make it possible for everyone to be more active.
Exercises to improve BALANCE will help to reduce the risk of falls & fall related injuries. STRENGTH exercises will reverse muscle loss and increase bone density. Moving more will improve joint FLEXIBILITY and aid overall mobility.
Together these improvements will aid your daily functional movement.
Classes run in term time only. You don’t need any specialist exercise clothing or equipment to attend, but sensible, lacing shoes are essential and trousers.
